Hussar's Lodge - Kembla Grange
Hussar's Lodge Racing Stables are situated at Kembla Grange. Kembla Grange is located on the outskirts of Wollongong on the South Coast of NSW.
Established in 1998 Hussar's Lodge has grown into two large stable complexes, complete with a 9 horse walking machine and an equine swimming pool.
The Stables can accommodate up to 40 horses in the comfortable, relaxed, semi-country atmosphere of Kembla Grange.

The pool itself is 88 lineal metres up and back, 3 metres deep and varies between 1-3 metres in width. The circle is 8 metres round. It holds 430,000 litres of water. |  |
 | Equine swimming is popular throughout the racing industry for the rehabilitation and fitness of racehorses, as swimming is a strenuous exercise and is great resistance training for a sound horse. Swimming should be considered as one element of any fitness programme. |
"Rissmore" - Conjola Training & Spelling
The "Rissmore" property was first home to a dairy farm which was turned into a racing complex in 1962. "Rissmore" Conjola Training and Spelling is a property consisting of 270 acres.
Situated 2 ½ hours drive from Sydney "Rissmore" is home to Bede's own training track and has Conjola Lake swimming horses. With lush pastures and a relaxed country feeling for your horses while out spelling.
The property has two training tracks. A flat grass track for fast work and another grass track for slow work which climbs up and around the hills which surround the property. When combined with the salt-water swimming at nearby Lake Conjola, "Rissmore" has a natural ambience as a training and spelling property.
